Thermal regulation, the ability to heat the body up and cool the body off, is among the most energy consuming processing the body is ever tasked with.  Sauna and cold plunge is the best way to make thermal regulation a part of your daily or weekly routine. Session includes: Wood Burning Sauna (HOT) Cold Plunge (COLD) Rest Area (REST) Thermal Cycle - Hot, Cold, Rest. Routine: 2 or 3 rounds, ending in the cold.
 Goal of Exposure and Frequency: Get in a total of 11 minutes of cold each week, and about 1 hour of heat each week spread out over 2 or 3 sessions. Mindfulness: Always end your session in the heat if you’re going to workout or train, and in the cold if you’re looking to recover. Generally, it's better to workout first and end in the cold.  Hot. Duration: 10-15 minutes. Hot Temperature: Sauna reaching temperatures of 80-85F Step inside and breathe deeply. Allow the heat to penetrate your skin and let the sweat drip. Breathe in the fresh eucalyptus (optional) and scents of cedar wood. Benefits Stimulates the immune system. Detoxifies the body. Soothes muscle and joint pain. Relieves stress. Cold Duration: 30 seconds to 4 minutes. Slow down your breathing. Your heart rate will slow down. You’ll enter into a meditative state. Cold Temperature: Uncomfortable but safe. Anything colder than 19 C/66.2F can activate brown fat and insulin sensitivity. Benefits Closes pores and tightens the skin. Reduces inflammation. Improves Circulation and blood flow. Improves thermal regulation. Booking is non refundable. 3 day grace period if you need to reschedule for a later class. Less than 48 hours, no changes are to be made. Class pass will be used, and no refunds will be alloted. This event is very popular and fills up very quickly!
